Taking up a hobby is a great way of distracting you from your pain.

Here are a few ideas that you may consider, indeed, if you have a hobby that is not listed then please let us know.

If the hobby is underlined, please click on it, as it will take you to a web site. An Internet search will also provide you with hundreds of pages to sift through!(Local links will be added as we find them)

A visit to a megastore such as Hobbycraft in Preston or The Range at central 12 in Southport( near Asda) will certainly inspire you! But remember there are many local hobby and craft shops more than willing to offer you help and friendly advice.

So what are you waiting for? Just do it!
